Simbahan sa Bukid began on November 9, 2008, in a barn. This is not a figure of speech: it was a real barn with chickens, ducks, goats, and pigs. The main sanctuary stood in the middle, with chickens on both sides; during worship, you could hear the chickens and ducks.
Later, the chickens were eaten and the believers took over the barn. In October 2013, God blessed the church with a new, permanent property.
Simbahan sa Bukid is a non-denominational church. Our single purpose is to love, serve, and teach people from Genesis to Revelation.
